Race for Life 2008 - Part Deux

Sunday 27th July found Elaine, Nicola, Cath, Louise, Hannah and Jane on the starting blocks for Race for Life at Holme Pierpoint in Nottingham. Although it was a blistering hot day they managed to complete the course.
As in previous times on Race for Life all monies raised went to Cancer Research.
Hannah, who is aged 10, did great she kept up the pace and never moaned through out the walk. All the girls walked across the Finish holding hands, feeling happy that they had come along and taken part. Maddie herself did the course a couple of times with her Mum, at both Holme Pierpoint and Victoria Embankment.
This is the second time this year that Louise has completed Race for Life, September will find her running in the Nottingham 1/2 marathon for the Maddison Bignall Trust.
